   License and Certification Qualifications: None required.

Education Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent required. Bachelor's degree in human resources, business administration, or related field preferred.

Experience Qualifications: Four years of experience in human resources or related field required.

Skills Qualifications: Proficient in computer applications skills; excellent interpersonal and human relations skills; ability to maintain records with a high degree of accuracy; accurately collect and present quantitative data; process manual entries; respond appropriately to questions from applicants and placement officials.

Primary Responsibilities: Assist with the recruitment travel schedules and trip follow-up, which includes but is not limited to conference registration, airline reservations, hotel reservations, shipping arrangements, car rental confirmations, expense filing, recruitment invoices, and candidate data.

1. Schedule recruitment trips, including but not limited to securing travel arrangements and processing expenses in accurate and timely manner.

2. Respond professionally to director, general public, administrators, co-workers, and college/university placement officials.

3. Maintain databases pertaining to recruitment, retention, department archives.

4. Manage student teacher process, contact with university placement offices, and student teacher computer archives.

5. Provide excellent customer service regarding inquiries (phone, e-mail, walk-ins, etc.) concerning recruitment issues.

6. Provide logistical support to Gwinnett County Public Schools teacher fairs.

7. Prepare reports as needed concerning recruitment and retention.

7. Perform other duties as assigned.

Physical Demands:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to sit for extended periods of time. Employee is also required to talk, hear, stand, and walk. The employee may be required to use hands to finger, handle, feel, and/or reach. Employee is occasionally required to stoop, kneel, or crouch. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
