GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES
Perform system plan setup, changes, and upgrades in benefits module of the Human Capital Management systems of the City (Oracle) and Schools (Lawson); develop business requirements as needed for programming requests; test, analyze and resolve system errors; extract and interface data transmissions to vendors; process inbound data files; perform data reconciliations with vendor files; extract and manipulate benefits data for reporting; serve on committees and implementation teams; effectively communicate and collaborate, both orally and in writing, with vendor technical support, internal programmers and staff; understand system rules and the business processes to engage in critical thinking.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
Bachelor's degree preferred with four years' experience in benefits administration and working knowledge of Human Capital Management systems is required. Proficiency in Microsoft Access, Excel, and Word is required. Experience with Crystal Reports and ACL (Audit Command Language) is preferred. Some programming experience is preferred.

Unified Experience-Based Step Pay Scale: Grade 16
Salary will be based on creditable years of full-time, verified work experience. Entry Level salary will be awarded at the time of hire. Upon the return of the Employment Verification Forms from the candidate's current and previous employers, the salary will be adjusted if creditable full-time experience is confirmed.
