**This position is an ESSER position, funded through December 2023. This position is not eligible for tenure.
The ESSER EdTech Program Specialist is to provide the instructional technology programs, resources, tools and professional learning to support teachers with providing high rigorous instruction to students while minimizing learning loss. To ensure that all students have access to functional technology to meet their instructional needs while minimizing learning loss.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Assists in program organization to comply with reform initiatives and local, state, and federal guidelines.
  • Participates in ongoing professional development related to job responsibilities.
  • Acts as a leader, mentor, and change agent to promote the best use of technologies, user experience, and content.
  • Serves as a primary technical support provider to instructors, with an emphasis on tools that will enhance and individualize the course content delivery for each specific subject and course.
  • Creates content and documentation to assist with implementing educational technologies, tools, and workflows.
  • Evaluates courses and educational tools for effectiveness and finds areas of opportunity.
  • Works in the Blackboard Learning Management System to construct seamless learning experiences.
  • Stays up-to-date on emerging learning technologies.
  • All other duties assigned.

Salary Range: From/To : Classified Salary Schedule 14 ? Level 2 ($45, 811 -$59, 799)
