Job Description
• Conducts psychological and psycho educational evaluations on in-district and out of district students as needed for eligibility for IDEA and Section 504.
• Possesses knowledge of federal, state, and local laws, regulation, and policies regarding children's special education eligibility and programming.
• Demonstrate knowledge in subject area of Psychological Assessment, IDEA and Chapter 766, and Section 504 regulations
• Conduct classroom observations and individual psychological evaluations, and consults with appropriate professionals regarding implications and results.
Professional Culture:
• Conducts assessments and writes thorough reports for initial and three year evaluations including cognitive, behavioral, social emotional and projective testing.
• Maintains accurate records of all psychological services provided.
• Completes clearly written and comprehensive reports which provide practical recommendations.
• Submits all required paperwork within a timely manner, adhering to all federal, state, and local laws and policies.
• Work collaboratively with general education teachers, grade-level teams and other staff, to plan, share student work and ensure that instruction is aligned with identified curriculum and standards.
• Participate in IEP and 504 meetings as required by caseload
• Model learning and behavior consistent with the expectations for students

DEGREE PREFERRED: Master's Degree in School Psychology; CAGS Preferred EXPERIENCE PREFERRED: Previous experience as a School Psychologist ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS: A valid Massachusetts DESE license as a School PsychologistCitizenship, residency or work VISA in United States required
