The Amplify Business Operations team is looking for an experienced Manager, Business Operations System Support to optimize business operations systems. This role is responsible for overseeing business support and continuous improvement of Corporate systems such as Netsuite and Salesforce.com. The person in this role serves as a liaison between the Business Operations team and IT Support team.

The Manager, Business Operations System Support will also supervise a team of system support analysts who are responsible for solving technical issues, defining and documenting business requirements and user stories, writing test scripts and implementing user acceptance testing. The person in this role will manage and prioritize the backlog of outstanding development, collaborating with IT product owners and technical resources to negotiate scope and ensure functionality meets expectations and is delivered in alignment with business needs.

Responsibilities of the Manager, Business Operations System Support:
  • Supervise a team of system support analysts to troubleshoot and resolve issues, and partner with IT resources to implement system enhancements and bug fixes
  • Coordinate, organize, and prioritize multiple projects in a fast paced environment to deliver system functionality in alignment with business needs
  • Act as a solution consultant with deep expertise of current state business processes and their supporting technology stack in order to identify effective solutions using Netsuite and Salesforce
  • Collaborate with Key Partners, Subject Matter Experts, Technical Resources and Developers to define requirements and scope, and complete project work within deadlines, including user stories, acceptance criteria, detailed test scripts and user acceptance testing
  • Track and communicate project status, issues, risks and decisions to senior management in an Agile, change-laden environment
  • Stay up to date and quickly obtain proficiency in new technologies and tools, as needed, to meet business needs
  • Facilitate implementation of new functionality through communications, demos, and the development of appropriate documentation

Basic Requirementsof the Manager, Business Operations System Support::
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • Experience supervising teams of up to 5 people
  • 2+ years experience supporting either ERP systems (NetSuite preferred) or Salesforce
  • Ability to think analytically, and to translate business needs into technical solutions

Preferred Qualifications of the Manager, Business Operations System Support:
  • Experience working in the education technology field
  • Experience leading software development or process improvement projects
  • Certification in a related process (PMP, Lean Sigma Six, Agile Scrum-master) a plus
  • Expertise with technologies and tools such as MS Project, Google apps, Trello, etc. required to effectively lead projects and provide clear and concise communications to teams and key partners
