St. Joseph School is seeking a dependable and kind part-time supervisor for Before School Care, Lunch, and After School Care for 3 and 4 year olds. The hours are Monday- Friday: 7:25-8:25am, 11am-12:45pm, 2:30pm-5:30pm/6pm.

Responsibilities:

• Effectively communicate with students, staff, and parents
• Provide a solution-orientated positive approach
• Interact with the children to support play, exploration, and learning
• Supervise lunch and recess for 3yo students
• Take attendance
• Maintain the health and safety of all students

Qualifications:

• Minimum of associates degree preferably in child development or early childhood education, or the equivalent
• Previous experience in childcare, teaching, or other related fields
• Ability to build rapport with children
• Positive and patient demeanor
• Able to provide 3 references
• Pass a background check/fingerprint clearance
• Pass a physical examination with a negative TB test, COVID vaccination or weekly testing required
• Be able to lift 20 lbs., sit on the floor, crouch down to be eye level with children, etc.
• Current Mandated Reporter Training, CPR Training, VIRTUS, & other training certificates as required

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $18.00 per hour

Schedule:

• Monday to Friday

Students and faculty are wearing masks indoors. Masks are not required outside. Air filters and fans are in every classroom.
