The Verona Public Schools seeks an outstanding educational leader to serve as successor Superintendent of Schools beginning on or before April 1, 2022.
About Verona
Located in Essex County, NJ, the Township of Verona is known as a great place for commerce and to raise a family. Incorporated in 1907, Verona is located in the valley between the First and Second Watchung Mountains. One of the most striking features of the town is Verona Park. The 54-acre park was originally designed by the Olmstead Brothers, and features twin lakes, a picturesque bridge, boathouse, event center, trails, and many playgrounds.
The Verona Public Schools serve approximately 2,300 students in grades pre-K - 12 in 6 schools. The Board is seeking an experienced, transparent, and collaborative executive level educator with exemplary K-12 leadership experience and unifying skills. The successful candidate must possess a New Jersey School Administrator Certificate or be immediately eligible for the same.
