JOB SUMMARY: This position is a licensed health care professionals who provide educationally related services to special education students ages 20 through 21 when these services are needed for a student to benefit from the educational program. This position works on the acquisition of or development of compensatory strategies for fine motor skills. sensory motor skills, visual motor skills, visual perceptual skills. and self-care skills. Through initial/ongoing evaluation and treatment planning, this position works with students on foundation skills needed for school participation utilizing task analysis and individually selected motor activities. The analytical skills required by the job are varied and advanced. This position collaborates with team members to provide therapeutic interventions, environmental adaptations, and instructional modifications to support student achievement in the educational setting.
