EGTC Marketing Coordinator

Salary Range: $48,618 to $59,054
Essential Functions and Objectives:
Supports individuals, teams and/or departments through facilitating and regulating a series of activities and work streams. Carries out specific tasks based on established procedures, to ensure a broader set of priorities and objectives are met. Primary focus on execution of assigned tasks in a specific area of responsibility, with a non-technical scope and a high degree of customer service.
Assists with the implementation and execution of marketing campaigns through development of promotional materials, content, communications strategies and social media. Supports writing, editing, and proofreading site content for the website and catalog, working closely with the technical team to maintain site standards with regard to new development. Support the College's overall communications strategy through the identification and sharing of important issues and trends.
- Provides administrative support and assists in carrying out specific activities, such as: distribution of materials, process documentation, conducting trainings, organizes and submits reports, coordinates responses, develops procedures, and maintaining records and files.
-A ssesses and troubleshoots, escalates problems and interacts with stakeholders across the district to resolve problems related to area of responsibility.
-Exercises discretion to make exceptions to policy.
-Documents exceptions for compliance record keeping and reporting.
-Ensures appropriate key stakeholder involvement in planning, goal-setting, and implementation to achieve buy-in of work products.
-Ensures purposeful, positive and professional interactions and relationships with all stakeholders.
-Identifies process inefficiencies and proposes solutions, identifies opportunities through external research on trends in resources, programs, and services and internal research with stakeholders, and supports improvement efforts in order to ensure smooth execution with appropriate participation and support across the district.
-Oversees the design, format and content changes of the annual college catalog.
-Helps develop and maintain content for web presence and assists with website content, support contracts, users, training, and analytics; makes all necessary modifications to increase its effectiveness; and ensures that new and consistent information is posted regularly.
-Creates and manages content on the Student Portal.
-Coordinates with other departments and assists in performing routine updates and maintenance of internal and external web pages, verifying accurate and up to date content and links are in place.
-Reviews website analytics on a routine basis to ensure it is being utilized to promote programs, classes and services, communicate important events and policies and recruit contacts and prospective students.
-Supports the integration of the website with the student information system to support student communications and web-based access to the class schedule.
-Maintains brand consistency across channels of communication.
-Supports the online social media needs of the organization, as necessary.
-Represents the College at outreach events and at conferences or seminars.
Knowledge, Experience & Other Qualifications:
-Knowledge with Microsoft Office products including Word, Excel and Outlook.
-Effective time management and organizational skills.
-Effective communication skills.
-Strong attention to detail.
-Effectively handle multiple demands and competing deadlines.
-The ability to take responsibility for one's own performance.
-Work collaboratively with others on a team.
-High degree of integrity in handling confidential information.
