The Early Childhood Intake Manager will provide support in managing the intake and processing of student applications. S/he will be responsible for ensuring that the Federal Head Start and State requirements and protocols are followed when processing student applications and will follow up with families as necessary to ensure students can be enrolled in a timely and compliant manner.

Reports To : Executive Director and Program Officers

Salary :
Support Exempt Salary Schedule Level 1 (starting at $53, 496)

Qualifications :
1. Bachelors degree preferred.

2. Knowledge and experience in data collection and information processing.

3. Ability to communicate with diverse stakeholders.

4. Strong mathematics skills.

5. Ability to work within multiple databases and utilize a variety of technology tools.

Residency Requirements : City of Pittsburgh Residency Required

Essential Job Functions :
- Supports the Early Childhood online application processes.

- Manages the Early Childhood data system (ChildPlus) updates and creates reports/live letters, sets up program terms and fund codes, performs program roll overs, updates staff demographics, PIR, etc.)

- Runs reports for EC administration for grants, Head Start PIR, enrollment stats, etc., as needed.

- Manages all child assessment data systems and prints reports for the Program.

- Provides ongoing training to program staff of student information systems.

- Cross-train and provide back-up for all intake positions

- Manages all child assessment data systems and prints reports for the Program.

- Due to COVID-19, Federal, State, District mandates and/or Program needs, some responsivities may be adjusted.

- Participate in regular conference calls & webinars with the online application system creators to update and maintain the system as needed.

- Perform other duties as determined by supervisor.
