The Regional Vice President, Educational Partnerships Management (RVP, EPM) is a senior leadership role within Amplify, reporting to the SVP of Partner Success. This role drives customer success and business performance for Amplify's core curriculum, assessment and intervention, and supplemental business lines. The RVP is responsible for developing, modeling and driving the capabilities of direct reports to expand our strategic alignment with clients by building relationships with senior leaders at key institutions. In addition, this role requires building strong internal relationships with senior leaders of our sales, marketing, product, customer support, engineering teams, finance and professional services teams.

The RVP will be responsible for building and managing teams of talented EPM Directors, EPMs, and Associate EPMs who are positive, enthusiastic relationship builders and problem solvers focused on achieving customer goals to support our managed accounts. The RVP will ensure that his or her team positions Amplify as a unique partner with customers, rather than a vendor.

Leading teams that use strategic data analysis to inform how our programs fit into each district's culture and addresses their challenges, the RVP will champion the use of data to support customers, lead change, anticipate problems before they arise and work diligently to ensure that Amplify has the right relationships in place with key district leaders.

The RVP will work in conjunction with senior leadership to ensure a strong, collaborative and commercially-focused culture is in place that compliments the goals and missions of our client institutions.

Responsibilities of the RVP, EPM:
  • Design and implement business strategies, best practices and procedures that drive client success and growth using various data available for Amplify products and services
  • Foster a success-oriented, customer-service focused accountable environment that achieves high levels of client satisfaction and business goals resulting in customer stickiness
  • Manage the team budget and operate within our fiscal constraints with a consistent focus on operating more efficiently by introducing new initiatives
  • Ensure diverse teams of EPMs are inspired and enthusiastically working within a safe, fulfilling, and respectful work environment
  • Manage and build competencies of team members who oversee key accounts in account management, communication skills, building trusting relationships (with customers and internal partners), data analysis, business intelligence and technology innovation; provide day-to-day leadership that mirrors Amplify's mission and core values
  • Develop Directors' and EPMs' capabilities in strategic account management, with a focus on consultative, analytical, project and change management, and relationship skills.
  • Establish and measure annual and quarterly team and individual objectives, goals and results; enhance evaluation of performance by analyzing and interpreting data and performance metrics
  • Mentor team leads that expand the company's strategic alignment with clients by building relationships with administrative level leadership at key institutions
  • Develop an exceptional alliance with internal partners including our sales partners, GMs, product owners and other senior leaders; work with the sales team to forecast opportunities and influence strategic direction in the Amplify market leading to new opportunities for Amplify and our clients. Introduce other product offerings and professional development services to existing managed accounts in an effort to drive upsell and cross sell opportunities for our sales partners.
  • Collaborate with other internal leaders and executive team members to define, actualize and evaluate implementation model as per strategic goals
  • Provide training and coaching to team members; own and drive department-wide training, policies and procedures
  • Analyze, identify and collaborate with cross team leaders and EPMs to continually improve our processes and services.


Basic Qualifications of the RVP, EPM:
  • Bachelor's Degree
  • 8 years of strategic account leadership experience
  • Experience successfully developing and implementing integrated strategies and programs which deliver results and align with overall business objectives
  • Analytical skills with a track record of developing concrete recommendations from qualitative and quantitative data
  • Experience with P&L responsibility
  • Prior supervisory experience and successful track record leading a team of managers and individual contributors to reach or exceed individual and team goals.


Preferred Qualifications of the RVP, EPM:
  • Exceptional written and oral communication and presentation skills
  • Proven relationship builder/influencer with a track record of effectively managing and interacting with a diverse partner group in complex institutions and implementing strategies to deliver superior results
  • Strong understanding of the political landscape across states and districts
  • Demonstrated leadership and executive presence; able to interact with and build relations with senior leadership
  • Excellent judgment, intellectual ability, and leadership skills with high integrity
  • Well-developed commercial and business acumen
  • Strong consulting skills
