Coaching & Instructional Support Partner


We are searching for an experienced Coaching & Instructional Support Partner at our Doyle Administration Building facility.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

Purpose of Position:

The role of the Coaching and Instructional Support Partner is to support schools leaders to effectively implement the district instructional vision and strategy.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  1. Supports implementation of district literacy strategy through reflection, planning, modeling and co-teaching to ensure accurate use of strategy and transfer of strategy.
  2. Supports alignment of resources needed across schools.
  3. Consults with Instructional Coaches regarding implementation of district literacy strategies. Gather feedback from principals regarding additional instructional strategy support needs.

Required Qualifications:

Education, Knowledge, Skills, Abilities to perform essential job functions:

  • Knowledgeable about the blended coaching model to support principals as they engage in transforming school practices aligned to their school improvement plan.
  • Training, experience, and expertise in the following areas of education: working within an instructional team, standards-based assessment and instruction, culturally relevant and differentiated instruction, and technology skills to enhance professional learning and instruction.
  • Demonstrates a knowledge and commitment to equity within a school and/or district improvement process.
  • Demonstrated ability in the use of data to systematically improve student learning and in the design and implementation of professional learning experiences to enhance adult use of student data to improve practices.
  • Evidence of deep understanding and research-based application of standards-based professional development practices.
  • Deep and broad knowledge of research, best practices and issues in professional development in education locally, regionally and nationally.
  • Evidence of active and current involvement in school and/or district leadership and coaching opportunities in professional development.
  • Evidence of excellent: oral, written, computer- and web-based communication skills; organizational and group facilitation skills; communication skills among diverse audiences, including teachers, building coaches, administrators, instructional leaders, support staff, and technical staff.
  • Evidence of extensive and current collaborative professional engagement and collaborative work products.
  • Evidence of professional development leadership leading to concrete and successful results.
  • Experience working cross culturally and/or commitment to work toward improving one's own cultural competence, i.e. valuing difference/diversity, recognizing personal limitations in one's skills and expertise, and having the desire to learn in these areas.

Minimum Training and Experience Required to Perform Essential Job Functions


  • Must obtain Educator Effectiveness certification.
  • Must hold a Master's Degree in a field of education leading to a Principal License #51 through the WI Department of Public Instruction.
